SOS is a project in a former factory, for a space without natural light, a place where the temporality of night and day do not participate in the way of understanding and living this space. A kind of inert quality led us to propose through the light and sensors, a new temporality based on the movement of residents. The choice of materials responds to those that were available for free in the former factory: fluorescent tubes, cables, black paint, and motion sensors. The reuse of these routine and purely functional elements allowed us to give another meaning to what is available, changing the order of things, perhaps giving them their true power towards a new service; that of meaning darkness, light and time. A reaction activated by presence.
